Travel up in this short three-level game with Scallop the Clam through the waters to see a beautiful sunrise with your family! Avoid zippy jellyfish and zappy eels as you navigate the waters to gather family members before moving up to the next ocean.

Your big family consists of sister Nori, Grandma Maureen, brother Morgan, Granpabby Irving, father Lake, cousin Coral, and kitty cat Fisher!

Controls: To move left and right, use the arrow keys or a & d on your keyboard. Press spacebar to jump. To collect a family member, simply collide with them. You must collect all family members in the level before moving on!

This is my first finished game and I am excited to continue working on it after this game jam to make it even better, so please let me know what you think! I welcome any and all advice you may have!

Thank you to my friends and family for supporting me and giving great advice. I am lucky to be surrounded by so many intelligent and kind people :)

All visual art and game assets* were hand-painted and coded by me, Cinnamon.Crossing , *with the exception of the lovely one and only song used in this game which is Slow Hours by Simon Folwar on Uppbeat. See below for details!

The art style and the cozy environment sends me back to nostalgia on y8 games. The music selection matches the vibe really well, and my favorite part of this game are the cute hand-drawn assets. It was a fun experience and I wish there were more content to get to know the family better. I think this would go really well if there were some dialogs to the family, other tasks rather than just going up, an audio playback whenever the player jumps, parallax background, and the use of sprite animations rather than just still images. Reading the credits and seeing your appreciation to the people that supported this project is the most uplifting part for me. I cant help but smile to how wholesome this is.

Awww, that makes me so happy to hear it brings up feelings of nostalgia :') I was definitely leaning towards the style of old Miniclip games back in the late 2000's and early 2010's so I'm glad to see that resonated. Thank you so much for playing my game and for the feedback, I'll be sure to keep this in mind as I go on! I am most excited to learn how dialogue works so that I can add that as well as a more robust collection system.
